I did it!
I mentioned last week I was doing something I'd never tried, (or really contemplated doing). Well the good news is I did it!
While Paula Radcliffe shouldn't have too worry to much after me posting a time of 2 hours 27 minutes, at least Leukaemia research are better of by over £200.
Having been training for the most of the winter (in the cold!) it was a beautiful day on Sunday - about 18 degrees - great for all the people who came to watch, but it really caught me (and others) out and made the run that little bit harder.
Now, anyone want to buy a pair of size 11 running shoes! I promise never to do that again!
